In FCS Football Week 7, we will see Bethune Cookman v North Carolina Central.
Betting Prediction:
Bethune-Cookman is 4-1 on the year with their only loss coming against a very good Miami team where neither the passing game nor the running game could’ve got going. Last time out, the Wildcats beat Morgan State 31-20 in a game where Akevious Williams weren’t asked to do much except for handing the ball to the running backs but he was hot in the red zone and finished with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception on 16 throws.
North Carolina Central, on the other side, is 2-4 on the year. Their only wins came against Morgan State and Elizabeth City. Both of these teams are not that big of threats and if we take into account the last game against Florida A&M we will see the red flags. Davis Richard completed only 16 of his 35 throws for 220 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 picks while he was also the leading rusher of the team with just 40 yards.
I do not believe that North Carolina Central has enough in themselves to get the victory because the offense is suspect. Bethune-Cookman at least has an offense that is solid and that is why I’m leaning towards them.
