The team with the best defense in the league- Chicago Bears, continues to be out of the playoff picture because of its bad offense. It seems like the team has lost all faith in Mitch Trubisky who was awful against the Giants. He finished the game with 278 passing yards, 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions. Tarik Cohen was also very quiet with just 25 rushing yards.
The Detroit Lions, on the other side, are on a 4-game losing streak mainly due to the fact that Matt Stafford is injured. There are too many players on the injury list- both on offense and defense. QB Jeff Driskel played against the Washington Redskins and he couldn’t move the chains at all. The QB finished with just 207 passing yards, 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions. RB Bo Scarbrough helped him a bit with 98 rushing yards on 18 carries but that was simply not enough to secure the victory.
I expect a low-scoring game because of the two awful quarterbacks. Trubisky, surprisingly, is the better one and he also has the better weapons on offense and a much better defense to help him.
