The Atlanta Legends fooled us in weeks 4 and 5 with some great performances and wins over reputable opponents. In game 6, they got back to their old ways. QB Aaron Murray played awfully against the Apollos in a game where he was sacked three times, threw 2 interceptions and didn’t throw any touchdown passes. The team does not offer anything on defense and the offense will have a hard time against the best defense in the AAF this week.
Birmingham lost its last game due to bad play calling. They led by 11 points with five minutes left in the game against Memphis and still lost. The other bad thing is that they couldn’t convert in overtime. We know that the defense is elite and having in mind that they will be playing against a much weaker offense such as the Legends’ one, I believe that the Iron will keep their opponents to single digits in scoring.
Atlanta lost 3 of their games this year by at least 30 points and this is too much. Even though the Iron are not that great offensively, they are monsters on defense and this will help them cover the spread.
