In one of the most intriguing games of Week 8, the Falcons host the struggling Green Bay Packers. Atlanta have lost their last 2 games, one on the road against the Seahawks and one at home against the Chargers. The Falcons’ offense is performing at a high level and Julio Jones is on his way to record the best season any wide receiver has had. He can beat Calvin Johnson’s record easily if he can stay healthy. He will face a secondary that is not only struggling, but it also has many injured players. Matt Ryan should be able to find Jones for big gains during the whole game and I won’t be surprised if he goes for 350+ yards again this season.
Green Bay should be able to move the chains on offense because Atlanta is struggling against elite quarterbacks. The games they lost this year are against Jameis Winston, Russell Wilson, and Philipp Rivers. I believe Aaron Rodgers will find his rhythm and he will shine at Georgia Dome. That’s why I predict this to be a wild shootout that will be decided late in the fourth quarter.
