The UAB Blazers are 9-4 this season and they have been dominant against weaker sides and they are losing by double digits to stronger opponents. Last time out, they had to face Florida Atlantic and they lost 49-6 in a game where their running game was missing. RB Spencer Brown had just 65 rushing yards on 18 carries and he couldn’t help his team move the sticks. QB Tyler Johnston III had an awful performance again, finishing with 42 passing yards and an interception.
The Appalachian State Mountaineers only played against non-ranked sides this year and that is why they are 12-1 with great points scored/allowed ratio- 39.4:20.2 per game.
