Angelique Kerber (world number 4) makes a fantastic tournament and hasn’t loose a set. She beats Laura Robson (6-2 6-2), Varvara Lepchenko (6-1 6-4), Carina Witthoeft (7-6(11) 6-1), Misaki Doi (6-3 6-1) and Simona Halep (7-5 7-6(2) in the quarterfinal.
Venus Williams (world number 8) is again in the semi-final in a grand slam tournament. She is 36 years old but this didn’t stop her to beat Donna Vekic, Maria Sakkari, Daria Kasatkina, Carla Suarez Navarro and Yaroslava Shvedova in the quarterfinal to be in the last four ladies that left in Wimbledon.
