The Virginia Cavaliers are an interesting story. They are the team with the most passing yards per game since the start of the season – 430.5 yards. Their rushing game, however, is so bad that their rushing leader is Wayne Taulapapa with just 81 yards. The defense allows 27.5 points per game which is the only thing holding this team back.
Miami is also 2-2 but after losing to Alabama and Michigan State- two powerhouses of college football. Last time out, they beat Central Connecticut 69-0. QB D’Eriq King has a much worse year than last season and his TD to INT ratio is 3:4. He’s also added 767 yards on 81 of 122 passing. RB Cam’Ron Harris is doing a good job moving the chains as he is averaging more than 5 yards per carry and having 272 yards in total with 3 rushing TDs.
Miami’s offense is about to explode here in this one as they will face a shaky defense. On the other hand, Miami’s defense also allows a lot of points and I don’t think it will perform well against the number one ranked passing offense in the country. It seems like we are destined to see a lot of points here.
