Even though the Bruins are 9-6 and over .500, this has been an awful season for them so far. They fired their head coach on New Year’s Eve and since then have won 2 consecutive games. They will be hoping to turn around the corner and finally start winning games on a regular basis. Sophomore guard Kris Wilkes leads the Bruins with 17 points and four rebounds and has exceeded his average in three of his past five games. UCLA averages 78 points per game on offense and allows 73 points per game on defense.
The Oregon Ducks are having an inconsistent season. Even though they had some great moments, including knocking off Syracuse, they also lost surprisingly against smaller sides on too many occasions. Bol Bol is out for the season and the leading scorer now is Payton Richard with 12 points per game. The Ducks are scoring 72 points per game while allowing just 63.
Oregon has one of the best defenses in the country and the team also has better shooters. They can move the ball better than UCLA and I expect them to perform at a high level in this one.
