The Tampa Bay Lightning are the favorites to win the NHL Stanley Cup, according to Stanley Cup odds Las Vegas. Their season ended embarrassingly bad last year as they were thrown out of the NHL playoffs by the Columbus Blue Jackets. The team played very well until the end of the regular season and they were deservedly the team with most wins- 62.

They also gave a good fight to the Boston Bruins, forcing a game 7 which they lost but showed us that they can be considered a contender for the new season and are among favorites at Stanley Cup odds Vegas.
The Boston Bruins are once again one of the favorites to win the Stanley Cup trophy when we look at Stanley Cup odds today. They made their third Stanley Cup finals appearance in the last 9 years. They lost the Finals to the St. Louis Blues in 7 games, although the Bruins have been more consistent throughout the year. As a dark horse, you can also consider the defending champions St. Louis Blues to have another surprising campaign. The New York Rangers drafted the top prospect Kaapo Kakko with the second overall pick and they also acquired Jacob Trouba from the Winnipeg Jets. Jimmy Vesey and Jesper Fast continues to be part of the team and I expect them to contribute big time. I believe that the Rangers are a few years away from glory but they will show teeth this year. At least.
The New Jersey Devils’ chances of winning the Stanley Cup are more or less the same as the Rangers’ as wee sees at Stanley Cup odds of the beginning of the season. Their leading scorer Taylor Hall missed the latter stages of last season and the Devils were abysmal without him. With Hall in the lineup, they will certainly be a better team. Their case is similar to the Rangers’ one. They are few players away from being a contender.
