Match: Romania – Spain Preview, Predictions and Betting Tips
Date: Sunday, March 27, 2016
Start time: 19:45 GMT
Spain travels to Romania in a friendly match, part of the preparation for both teams for Euro 2016. The match is Sunday, March 27, from 19:45 GMT at the stadium “Cluj Arena”.
Preview:
Romania demonstrates very good game in qualifying for the European Championship while we are all familiar with the class of the Spanish national team, so we expected a very interesting match in Cluj-Napoca.
Romanians beat Lithuania 1:0 in their first friendly game a few days ago and registered a 16th straight game without a loss. The last time they were on the losing side in June 2014, when they were overtaken by Algeria with 2:1.
On Euro 2016 Romania is in a group with teams from France, Switzerland and Albania and the meeting with Spain will show them to a large extent can they do more than just pass the group. Before defeating Lithuania with a minimal result, Romania made two draws at home – against Finland (1:1) and Greece (0:0). In 13 consecutive games, Romanians are unbeaten at home and will try to continue this series. In September 2013, Turkey beat them 2: 0 in World Cup qualifying and then Romania recorded seven wins and six draws in front of their fans.
Spain drew with Italy 1:1 in the first friendly match this year. On “Stadio Friuli” in Udine alumni Vicente Del Bosque trailing on the score, but hit an Aritz Aduriz avoided defeat. The goal striker of Athletic Bilbao proved why he was preferred in the composition before Diego Costa example. 35 years Aduriz makes an incredible season and is among the favorites to lead the attack on Spain at Euro 2016.
Betting Prediction:
Spain has more class players who for many years now defend the national team, with the exception of two or three players with less experience at international level. Despite the good game in defense of Romania, I think “La Furia Roja” will record his first success in 2016 as riskier players might seek success guests with a minimum result.
