In FCS Football Week 10, we will see Princeton at Cornell.
Betting Prediction:
The Princeton Tigers are 6-0 and 1st in the Ivy. They have a great defense that is giving up less than 24 points per game. The Tigers are coming off a 30-24 win over Harvard who were 4-1 prior to this game. This was also the most difficult opponent Princeton faced this year. Their defense forced 3 interceptions that Jake Smith made while their QB Kevin Davidson was almost perfect with 312 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. RB Collin Eaddy finished with 110 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
The Cornell Big Red are 2-4 on the year and they are barely beating any opponents. However, they have a good defense an opportunistic offense. They make too many mistakes on offense and this costs them victories. The Big Red even managed to lose to a Colgate team that was winless before this game. Last time out, they beat the Brown Bears 37-35 after QB Richie Kenney finished with 332 passing yards and a touchdown.
Cornell plays very well against the spread and I doubt that they will lose by more than 21. Princeton will win this game and probably use it for any of their backup players to gain experience instead of demolishing the opposition.
