The Vegas Golden Knights had a superb preseason, winning almost all of their games. They are coming off a season where they went to the NHL finals where they were beaten by the Washington Capitals who lifted the Stanley Cup. The Golden Knights are ready for revenge and their journey starts on Thursday. They went to the finals last year without any problems but they were dismantled there, losing 4 consecutive games.
The Philadelphia Flyers, on the other side, also had a good season, however, they were defeated in the first round of the playoffs. They managed to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins twice, however, most of the games were lopsided. Philadelphia lost by 7-0, 5-1, 5-0 and 8-5. The Flyers didn’t play very well in the games against the good sides in the league and that was the biggest knock against them.
