Betting Prediction:
The only game Clemson lost this season was against Pitt. Since that loss, the Tigers have been on a mission to get to the postseason and they did. They improved at every aspect of the game and they play with passion and fire like no one else has seen in college football in recent memory. Clemson has the better offense, although being plagued by turnover issues, which can hurt any defense, even Alabama’s.
Ohio State’s offensive line needs to be at its best in order to provide good protection for the quarterback. It had its issues while the offense, as a unit, has been very inconsistent this season and we don’t know which face of it we will see on Saturday- the one that put up 63 points on Nebraska or the one that struggled against Michigan State.
Clemson’s defense is very physical and I expect it to shut down the inconsistent Ohio State’s offense. The Tigers want Alabama again and their motivation will drive them to the national championship game.
