Betting Prediction:
New York Giants’ defense is one of the top in the NFL, allowing just 15 points per game in their 10 wins this season. Offensively, the Giants have one of the best wide receivers in the face of Odell Beckham Jr. but Eli Mannning is holding them back, although he has played quite effectively lately. The offensive line is not doing its job and that’s why the Giants’ offense is struggling the most. Their running game is not floating, as well and this turns the Giants into a defensive-minded team.
Ryan Matthews finished his latest game for the Eagles with 128 rushing yards on 20 carries with a touchdown. Giants’ defense against the run is not that worse than Ravens’ but I think New York will be able to keep Matthews to under 100 yards. Carson Wentz has thrown for 3385 yards with 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He started strongly this campaign but since the first 6 games of the season, he has been inconsistent.
I don’t think Wentz can beat this Giants’ secondary with his passes and Ryan Matthews won’t be enough to deliver the win for the Eagles.
