Preview:
Mladost managed to win the championship of Montenegro for the first time since 2010. They lost the first game in Bulgaria with 2:0 and this is the least they could get rid of. The lack of minutes played shows from the start of the game. The team from Montenegro didn’t play any friendly match and this was their first game since the end of May.
Ludogorets prepares for their first official game very seriously. The team from Razgrad played 5 friendly games – four against strong foreign teams and one at home just days before the match against Mladost. This showed from the first minutes and the Bulgarian team lead with 2:0 still in the first half. The many misses in the second half from Ludogorets deprive the team from a bigger win. The year before last season the team managed to qualify for the Champions League group stage and reached their first victory in its history (1:0 against Basel).
Betting Prediction:
Mladost showed that their players had a much less class than the Ludogorets ones. The team who go ahead will play against Red Star Belgrade (the champion of Serbia) and it seems that this will be Ludogorets. That’s why I think that the Bulgarians will not play to a maximum and will try to keep their strength for the next round. The hosts are very weak in attack and I expect no more than two goals in the game.
