The Mississippi State Bulldogs are currently ranked in top 25 and their offense is strolling this year. MSU’s last games, excluding the one against Alabama, were very productive for the offense. It scored a total of 97 points, including a win over the Razorbacks by 52-6. It is a regional battle and both teams will be up for the challenge. Last year, the Bulldogs won this game by 3 points.
Ole Miss’ running back Scottie Phillips is questionable for this game and he missed last week’s overtime loss to Vanderbilt. He has been their most important player this year and it will be really intriguing to see him produce against the Bulldogs. Isaiah Woullard, however, is a good replacement. He went for 107 yards on 16 carries in the last one.
Even though Phillips may play in this upcoming game, I still don’t see Ole Miss getting a W here. I don’t even see them keeping up with the good MSU offense and they will fall behind early, making them throw the ball which is not their greatest ability.
