Betting Prediction:

The Miami Hurricanes had an awful outing last week when they allowed Mitch Trubisky go for 299 passing yards and Bug Howard to receive the ball 10 times for 156 yards. Miami also allowed UNC to convert more than 50% of their third-down conversions.

Eric Dungey had 25 incompletions the last time Virginia Tech played him and he had to run for his yards as he is a great dual-threat quarterback. Despite that, he got 311 passing yards and 106 on the ground. Jerod Evans was nearly perfect for the whole game until he threw an interception and fumbled the ball later in the game which cost them the win.

Virginia is clearly better on defense and their special teams blocked 4 kicks this year. I think it will be tough for Miami to move the chains and Virginia Tech will come away with the win.
