The Metropolitan roster contains some of the biggest names in the NHL at the moment, including Crosby, John Tavares, and Henrik Lundqvist. Even though they look the better team on paper, they will be facing 4 players who will be participating in front of their own fans.
They all come from the best team in the NHL at the moment and a host to the event, the Tampa Bay Lightning. The team is headlined by Steven Stamkos and the NHL point leader Nikita Kucherov. Stamkos, Kucherov, Point, and Vasilevskiy certainly have the ability to get the victory even against such a good team. Goalie Vasilevskiy leads the NHL in wins with 29 and he has a 2.18 GAA and a .931 save percentage.
The Atlantic Divison doesn’t have an easy task but they will try to prevent the Metropolitan side from taking an early lead which can create momentum and improve the chemistry among their big stars. If they can do that, they certainly have the ability to outscore them.
