Maryland started the season very well with 7 wins and just a single loss. The Terrapins bounced back from their first loss after a 66-59 win over Penn State. They shot nearly 49% from the field while holding their opponents to 39.7%. Anthony Cowan Jr. is scoring 16.4 points per game on a 47% field goal percentage. Maryland’s only loss came against one of best defensive sides- Virginia and they managed to score 71 points against them.
