Cody Kessler earned his first win as a starter for the Jacksonville Jaguars, even though they didn’t have a single touchdown for the whole game against Indianapolis. The defense did its job on Sunday and kept the Colts scoreless while the offense scored 2 field goals and won the game by 6-0. Cody Kessler didn’t convince anyone that he is the right guys for the job but if the defense is up for another performance like the previous one, we can witness another Jaguars’ win.
Tennessee, on the other side, just snapped its two game losing streak after a comfortable win over the New York Jets. Their postseason hopes are still alive but they will have to beat the Jaguars on Thursday if they are to reach the playoffs. They managed to get the victory in the first meeting between these two sides after a hard fought 9-6 win.
I am not convinced after what I saw last week from the Jaguars. The defense were at its best and I’m not sure if we will see the same defense again this week on the road. The Titans are playing well at home and they should be able to get the much needed victory.
