Betting Prediction:
Brock Osweiler is finally back after he threw for two touchdowns last week against the Jaguars but he had only 99 passing yards on 14 of 27 passes. Lamar Miller was good in the backfield, taking the ball for 15 carries for 83 yards. I think the Texans won’t have much problem running the football against the Raiders and Osweiler won’t have to carry all the load on offense.
Oakland’s offense is looking very good this year and Derek Carr has finally acknowledged himself as an elite NFL quarterback, ready to make the next step and get to the playoffs. Carr is ranked seventh on passing yards and the Raiders will be extra prepared for the Texans because they had a bye week, prior to that game.
The Texans are actually 2-3 against teams with winning records and their wins are coming against much weaker sides. Oakland will be a bigger challenge to Osweiler and company and I don’t think they can win on the road against a 7-2 side.
