Betting Prediction:

Thursday Night Football provides us with a tough matchup for Patriots. We hardly find them as underdogs under their own turf but that is the case against Houston Texans. Jimmy Garoppolo performed very well in the absence of Tom Brady but he will be unlikely to start on Thursday due to a shoulder injury. Gronkowski will probably miss the game even though if he starts, he won’t be 100% healthy. Patriots will be more willing to run the ball and LeGarrette Blount may find a hard time against the Texans’ defensive front that includes J.J. Watt.

Houston doesn’t have any major problems before the game and Brock Osweiler will push the ball down the field to Hopkins and Fuller. Their defense should be able to keep the Patriots relatively quiet, especially if Garoppolo doesn’t start. Osweiler beat the Patriots last year when he was a part of the Broncos’ team and he should be familiar with the Patriots’ defense. Belichick is running out of pieces on offense and I predict the Texans to win away from home.
