The Green Bay Packers are 2-0 with a win on the road against Minnesota and a win at home over Detroit. Aaron Rodgers looks amazing- he is throwing for 604 yards on 67% of completed passes for 6 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. Aaron Jones is also very solid, coming out from the backfield, having rushed for 234 yards already and he also had 3 touchdowns. The Packers’ defense continues to be questionable but they have good playmakers on that side of the ball as well.
The New Orleans Saints opened the season with a dominant win over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but then lost to the Raiders on the road. Now, we know that New Orleans is a home team and they tend to play worse away from home but we saw a couple of things that bothered us in week 2. They allowed Derek Carr to throw for nearly 300 yards and 3 touchdowns while RB Josh Jacobs punished them with his 27 carries, controlling the clock in the ball game.
I expect a much better performance from the Saints in Louisiana this time but there are a lot of question marks on the defense. Having in mind that Rodgers is also playing very well for the Packers, I think that this game has each and every potential to turn into a shootout.
