Georgia Southern is 4-3 on the season but they are on a roll at the moment. Even though they started the season with 4 losses in 5 games, they have been perfect since. The team just beat New Mexico State 41-7 behind their great running game. RB Wesley Kennedy III finished with 143 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on just 6 carries. The Eagles attempted just 4 passes and two of them were incomplete.
On the other side, we have the Appalachian State Mountaineers who are ranked 20th in the league and they are yet to lose a single game with a 7-0 record.
