Colorado State started the season decently, however, in recent weeks, things haven’t been going their way. For example, the Rams are coming off an 88-68 loss to New Mexico State as an eight-point home favorite. New Mexico State outshot them by converting 51.5% of their chances. Colorado State just couldn’t make enough stops on defense- something that has haunted them all year long. The Rams offense was a two-man game with Adam Thistlewood and JD Paige netting 17 points apiece.
The UNLV Rebels, on the other side, are 6-6 and are coming off a tough 97-72 loss to Bucknell as a three-point favorite. The Rebels are currently on a 2-game losing streak and they will be looking forward to this one with hopes to end this skid. Both squads are inconsistent and have shaky defenses. I expect to see many points in this one as both teams will bounce back from abysmal offensive performances.
