Betting Prediction:
Both teams want to go the playoffs and Clemson will probably find itself there as they are 7-0 right now while FSU is 5-2. FSU needed their passing to improve and Rudolph delivered at the wide receiver spot last week. He had the fourth-best receiving game in school history with a career-high 13 receptions for 238 yards. FSU also made several turnovers which may cost them badly against Clemson.
Clemson, on the other side, has showed signs of inconsistency which, however, didn’t cost them a win. They won against NC State in overtime and had trouble early in the game as Wayne Gallman injured himself in the first quarter. He is expected to start on Saturday and if he doesn’t, he will be replaced by CJ Fuller.
FSU relies much on Cook’s running abilities but he won’t be able to pick up extra yards against this nasty defense. Deondre Francois will be needed to throw the football much more because I can’t see him beating Clemson’s front seven with his legs. I think Clemson’s defense matches up well with FSU’s offense and it won’t allow many points for the home side.
