Alabama finished the season undefeated and the Crimson Tide won convincingly against Washington a week ago. It will be very important for the Tide to use Scarbrough for most of the time. He was neglected for stretches during the last game and this hurt the Alabama’s offense. Scarbrough went for 175 yards on the ground and the ridiculous 13 yards per carry. Tim Williams and Ryan Anderson make Bama’s secondary look unbeatable.
Clemson beat Ohio State by 31-0. The Tigers wanted Alabama so badly, they played with so much passion and focus on getting to the national title game that they kept the Buckeyes scoreless in a game they were the underdogs. Even though Ohio State didn’t score a single point during the contest, I still believe Alabama has more playmakers on the defensive side of the ball.
The Crimson Tide’s defensive ends and linebackers will put some pressure on Watson who has been partially inconsistent this season, having tons of interceptions. I expect this to be a very interesting game, a battle between the desire and the true talent. I see the talent winning this one, covering the points spread.
