Betting Prediction:
FSU is 6-3 and it comes to this game after it won against NC State, 24-20. The Seminoles were trailing for most of the game but Deondre Francois threw a 19-yard touchdown pass to Travis Rudolph late in the game to deliver the W. They lost to Clemson two weeks ago, although their offense was run perfectly by Francois who threw for 330 yards but their defense conceded 37 points.
Boston College lost six in a row against FSU, despite most of the contests were closer than everybody thought. Last week they lost 52-7 to Louisville in a game that Heisman Trophy contender, Lamar Jackson rushed for three touchdowns and threw for four more to tear the elite Boston College’s defense apart.
Outside of the loss to Louisville, Boston College has allowed 100 less yards on defense than FSU. The Eagles’ problems are on the offensive side of the game because they score only 19.4 points per game while the Seminoles are averaging 33.6 points. I think FSU will have trouble moving the chains against this defense and their win won’t come easy.
