Betting Prediction:
Toledo still has a chance to play in the MAC title game, despite their unexpected loss to Ohio in October. Logan Woodside continues his great performances with 37 touchdown passes (most in the country) and 189.25 passer rating, which is second in the NCAA. Kareem Hunt is helping him with his determined running on the ground for 122 yards and a touchdown.
Ball State are turning the ball over way too much to be able to get enough wins for a bowl game. They are clearly not going to be competitive to Toledo because they allow at least 500 yards in each of their losses and I believe this will be another loss on their resumé. James Gilbert was slowed down in the last game and I expect Toledo to prevent him from running the ball much.
I think Ball State will mostly run the ball through Gilbert but that won’t be enough against this high-powered offense which will score at least 4 touchdowns, thrown by Woodside.
