Austin Peay lost 3 games early in the season but they have been perfect since then. The team is on a 7-game winning streak and the main reason for that is their free-flowing offense. They managed to beat Sacramento State 42-28 last week on the road in a game where they completely shut down their opponent in the first half. QB JaVaughn Craig finished with 204 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception and he was also the leading rusher with 164 rushing yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.
Montana State is in a similar situation with a 10-3 record as well and they are also on a 5-game winning streak. Their defense is definitely better and it may be concluded that the offenses are equal in terms of skills.
