Match: Vasek Pospisil vs. Kevin Anderson Preview, Predictions and Betting Tips
Date: Wednesday, 31 August, 2016
One of the most interesting matches in the 2nd round of the US Open will be between Vasek Pospisil and Kevin Anderson.
The Canadian Pospisil is having an absolutely terrible season, he won two games in a row only once this year – at Queens Tournament in London. His win-loss record this year is 6-21, which is shameful for a player who reached world number 25 two years ago. He plays more successfully on doubles and lost the bronze-medal match at the Olympics playing alongside Daniel Nestor.
Anderson is playing awful this year too and nothing to be proud of. He has negative record – 10 wins and 15 losses which is really surprising after reaching top 10 at the end of 2015. So we have two good players who are having their worst seasons. At least they won their opening matches in New York in straight sets. I will go here against Pospisil because in my opinion, he is incapable of defeating a top 50 player right now.
